Federer Express 2

Oh my gosh! Federer finished his match with Fabrice Santoro in 81 minutes, and his scoreline is even better 6-1 6-2 6-0! I wonder how Fabrice felt!

Oh the other day I watched poor Lindsay get dismantled by Sharapova, it's not like Lindsay was playing her best, she just isn't what she used to be. I really miss Hingis. Hingis doesn't rely on power and those new girls are all used to power and not used to uncommon tactics!

When the announcer said Lindsay Davenport's name when she was about to leave the main court the crowd cheered soo loud, and this was just when they announcer announced game, set, match to Sharapova - and the clapping was let's say minimal.... her face was classic "uh, okay, where's my fans?" Hehehe, Sharapova I think inside is a very nice girl, but she gets iffy when she isn't the center of attention! :P

Who else among my favourites made it to day 5 of the Grandslam of Asia and the Pacific?

Find out after the jump!

Novak Djokovic had similar results to Federer, beating Simone Bolleli 6-1 6-2 6-2
David Nalbandian is on his way to the third round with a 4 set win over Peter Luczak.
James Blake, Juan Carlos Ferrero, and Fernando Gonzales also won their 2nd round matches!

On the women's side Ana Ivanovic won 6-0 6-3 against Tathiana Garbin of Italy.
Maria Kirilenko won 6-1 6-1 against Akiko Morigami (wow that's surprising with her results lately, I really hope she does some damage!)
And of course, although not really my favourite, Venus Williams defeated the I-serve-odd Camille Pin 7-5 6-4 (quite tight!)
